For almost three decades, war and a health crisis have ravaged the lives of the people in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and in the province of North Kivu in particular.  


The diocese of Maiduguri is not only the home of the Islamic terrorist group Boko-Haram (which means “anti-Western education”), but also the most affected by its attacks.


The current political, economic and social crises have hugely endangered the Christian presence in Lebanon and is provoking a profound emigration out of the country 



Jihadist violence in Cabo Delgado, in Mozambique, has led to a mass exodus of both Christians and non-Christians from their home places, mostly as IDPs (internally displaced people).  


The lives of Christians in the north of the country have been violently disrupted by terrorists and most have had to seek refuge outside their homes of origin 



Thousands of Christians have been killed or wounded in the ongoing war in Syria. Hundreds of thousands have fled to foreign countries.
